Your Partner in Building High-Impact Quality Standards

The International Network for Standardization and Certification was founded in the United States to bring together organizations that develop and apply quality standards. Its partners work in different countries and certify employers, service providers and products in their home markets. The network’s task is to align their standards so that a certification means the same thing wherever it is awarded.

A quality seal is only useful if customers, applicants and business partners can rely on it. That requires clear criteria, a transparent evaluation process and results that can be compared across markets. Our mission is to provide this common basis: standards that organizations can apply in practice and that give the public a reliable point of reference.

Who We Are?

The network was founded in the United States in 2025 and today brings together six partner organizations, including partners in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Our partners are institutes that develop quality standards in their respective markets.

What we do?

We compare the standards used by our partners, identify common requirements, and communicate standards for international use. We provide certifications only for external companies, not for our members.

What we do not do

The network does not certify the partner organizations themselves. Third-party certification may be conducted by us or by network partners based on harmonized standards. The development of the standards and the certification process are therefore handled by different organizations.

How to get certified

Organizations interested in certification should contact one of our partner organizations directly. The partner organization will explain the requirements—either directly or through a third party—conduct the assessment, and award the seal provided that all criteria are met. As a network of organizations, we do not offer advice to consumers. If you have questions about a specific seal, please contact the organization that developed it.

First Step

Identifying requirements

Our partners report which requirements they see in their markets, for example what applicants expect from an employer or which aspects of service matter most to customers. We then examine where these requirements overlap and where a shared standard would be useful.

Second Step

Developing the standard

For each standard, a working group is formed with experts from the partner organizations and the relevant fields. The group defines the criteria, the evaluation method and the thresholds a company must meet.

Communication

In the final step, the standards are given to our partners. They use them to carry out the respective certifications. Once adopted, the standard is made available to the partner organizations, which use it as the basis for their certifications. A seal awarded in one country is then based on the same criteria as a seal awarded in another.
